An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled [SOLVED]

"An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled. The dependency service or group failed to start."


That was an error when i tried to enable ICS when I tried to share my internet through Ad Hoc. So to make it enable, we must start some services. Open it by click windows, then type 'services.msc' in the run box. Then start this services in order.


1. Appliaction Layer Gateway Service
2. Network Connections
3. Network Location Awareness (NLA)
4. Plug And Play
5. Telephony
6. Remote Procedure Call
7. Windows Event Log
8. Remote Access Connection Manager
9. Remote Access Auto Connection Manager


If you don't start it in order, you may get error dependencies.
If you start Remote Access Connection Manager without starting Windows Event Log, you will get Error 87: Parameter is incorrect.
Then connect the Ad Hoc and enable the ICS.

How to Connect SD Card Mobile Phone (Android) To Computer Through WIFI

This use Android Sync Manager WiFi 

  1. download and install Android Sync Manager WiFi  on computer, http://ds.mobileaction.com/android/amwifi.exe
  2. On your mobile phone, open market and search Android Sync Manager WiFi, then install, if it can't be installed, open Settings > Applications, and enable Unknown sources.
  3. open the application on your mobile phone, click next, then fill PIN for confirmaton on your PC, for example:1234,then click done, there will be anl IP shown, for example 192.168.33.100
  4. Open Android Sync Manager WiFi  on komputer, then click Settings > Connection
  5. On PIN Code column, fill the PIN just like before, that was 1234, on handset IP, fill IP that is shown before, that was 192.168.33.100
  6. click ok, done

How to Change Default Folder Icon in Windows 7

Are you fed up with the idea of sticking to windows icons only, well here is a solution to you people. In this post i will explain on how to change the default folder icon to whatever the icon you want.

1. Go to you most trustworthy registry editor (regedit):
Just in case you do not know what i am talking about if  you are a windows XP user : Start Menu -> Run --> Type “regedit” Press Enter.
If you are a Vista or Windows 7 user then: Start -> Type “regedit” Press Enter.
Now that we have that settled lets go to step 2.

2. Regedit Navigation
Go to registry path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
3. Now Create a new Key Value
Right Click on Explorer on the Left Pane -> New -> Key.
Type “Shell Icons” and press Enter.
(If you already have shell icons just skip this step)
4.  Registry Value Creation
In the right pane of the Shell Icons keys.
Right Click -> New -> String Value.
For the new value created give the name “3″ and press enter.
5. Modify Newly Created Registry Value
Right click on the newly created number for the folder type and click on Modify.
Give the full path of the ico file which you want to make as the default icon.


NOTE : You must use a 256×256 pixel icon .ico file for it to display properly in all icon sizes in Windows Explorer.
now close the registry editor. log off and log on…
Voila… you now have the custom icon as your windows default icon

2.change file 'bootmgr' to 'NTLDR' (upcase)
3.restart computer, and go into bios, change 1st boot to flashdisk

Disk defragmenter cannot start because the task scheduler service is not running

If you get error message "Disk defragmenter cannnot start because the task scheduler service is not running. Start the task scheduler service and try again." when opening disk defragmenter on windows 7, try this to solve it:

1.Open Start>>Search>>services.msc
2.Check windows event log, make it enable, automatic, and then start it
3.Check task scheduler, make it enable, automatic, and then start it
